This study attempts to create floral art by sharing sensory perceptions evoked and imagined through the researcher’s experiences, stimulating the imagination of experiences that cannot be directly experienced through storytelling. By expanding imagination through personal experiences and external stimuli, the study aims to produce spatial floral art that draws the audience’s immersion through storytelling. The process of creating spatial floral art that stimulates imagination has evolved as follows: 1) expanding imagination through research on experiences and images, 2) creating intriguing storytelling based on the expanded imagination, and 3) employing spatial presentation methods based on the conceived content. Furthermore, to research the methods and effects of each stage, existing academic papers were referenced. To concretize the research results, the researcher planned an exhibition of spatial floral art under the theme "My Planet within Earth," creating five works that express the researcher’s imagination through storytelling, allowing the audience to project their own experiences and emotions. By creatively arranging plant materials and flowers, the study aimed to stimulate imagination and share personal and others' experiences in a spatial context. This approach played a crucial role in immersing the audience in the works, eliciting various emotional responses, and fostering empathy. This study presents a methodology useful for developing imagination-stimulating storytelling in the production of art, as well as for future exhibition planning and artistic endeavors. In particular, the expansion of imagination through internal experiences and image research greatly contributed to the development of creative ideas, providing an intriguing experience for the audience. By expanding the expressive methods of spatial floral art that stimulate imagination through storytelling, the study proposed directions for creative works and the possibilities of various exhibition plans.
