This study examines the future happiness level of baby boomers from a total of six areas: provision of inter-generational resource transfers, inter-generational resource transfer benefits, academic achievement of human capital, income of human capital, preparation for old age, and present happiness level. Our survey was conducted on baby boomers that were born from 1955 to 1963, and had adult children. The survey period was from Jan. 20, 2015 to Feb. 20, 2015, and of the questionnaires collected, only 660 copies were used for final analysis. For data analysis, SAS 9.3 and AMOS 21.0 were used. Specifically, the statistical methods used included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, coefficient of confidence (Cronbach's ), confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equating model analysis. The findings from this analysis and conclusions drawn from discussion are presented as follows: First, the overall happiness level of baby boomers was 58.59 and the happiness level of baby boomers showed a moderate level of happiness in general. The overall future happiness level of baby boomers was at 61.28. As a result of analyzing the future happiness level of baby boomers, it was found that in all areas except economic stability, jobs, and health, they were expecting a relatively higher level of happiness in the upcoming future. Second, this study examined if such exogeneous variables as inter-generational resource transfer had a direct, indirect, and total effect on the future happiness level, and final dependent variable using the parameters of preparation for old age, etc. Academic achievement (human capital 1) had a direct effect on the future happiness level, and at the same time had an indirect effect on it through such parameters as preparation for old age. On the other hand, income (human capital 2) did not have a direct impact on the future happiness level, but had an indirect significant effect on it through such parameters as preparation for old age .
