초록
In the coming era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, innovative changes in society as a whole are predicted by converging all fields with advanced digital technology. With the emphasis on fostering creative talents as a countermeasure for the future society, the university's creative education is paying attention to the design thinking methodology as an effective model of creativity. Focusing on these points, this study organized a design thinking education program and applied it to project classes to examine the effect of design thinking education on college students' creativity and problem-solving skills. Through design thinking education, students experience the creative problem-solving process through convergence in various fields and empathy and sharing with others, and lead learner-centered independent classes to naturally improve their creative capabilities. The research methods and contents are as follows. First, based on literature research and data research, the concept and characteristics of design thinking, and problem solving are considered. Second, to organize a design thinking education program to find out its efficiency and various effects, we will apply an education program to project classes for first-year college convergence groups in the second semester of 2019 to find out about creativity and educational usefulness for problem solving. Third, creative perception SAM test, TTCT creativity test, interview, and survey are conducted with analysis tools, and the test results are organized and analyzed with SPSS statistics. As a result of the above study, it was possible to confirm the significant effect of improving college students' creativity and problem-solving skills by developing design thinking education programs and applying them to classes. In addition, students' positive evaluation of integrated thinking that combines and utilizes information and knowledge through design thinking collaboration project education, communication with others, collaboration ability, empathy, and introspection was shown. This study is meaningful in proposing a design thinking education program as an educational program for enhancing the creative competency of universities.
