초록

In this article I attempted to study about types of women, especially the type of ‘Jia Ren’(佳人), a Beauty appeared in ‘Ming Chuan Qi’ Dramas of the Ming Era. In the second chapter I studied about the general women’s life of Chinese traditional society. In the third chapter I classified all those women characters pictured in ‘Sixty Dramas’(≪六十曲≫) which is the select works of the ‘Ming Chuan Qi’, in terms of their names, ages, social positions, personalities, etc. and arranged them and finally made a chart to make it clear and easy for the readers to see. I also attempted to study especially about the type of a beauty, the special feature and the characteristic literary meaning of it by the concrete analysis of both works of ‘Bai Yue Ting’(≪拜月亭≫) and ‘Huan Hun Ji’(≪還魂記≫).
