초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze and interpret the characteristics of Buddhist philosophy as reflected in Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui"s work Sutra, and to investigate how his artistic expression embodies the values and ideas of Buddhism. The research method will primarily involve a literature review to establish a theoretical foundation, which will then be used as the basis for analyzing how these concepts are expressed in Sutra. The work deals with themes such as meditation, interdependence, denial of self, impermanence, liberation, and peace, and visually repre sents these ideas through dance and movement. Through this study, it will be revealed how Sutra explores the deep interaction between contemporary dance art and Buddhist culture, contributing to a deeper understanding of the positive impact that dance art can have on mental health, personal self-exploration, social integration, and cul tural dialogue.
