초록

This study aimed to classify victimization experiences among adolescents and to reveal the predictors of the classes. Data from 2019 National Survey on the Rights of Children and Youth of Korean Youth Policy Institute were analyzed using latent class analysis. The results showed four classes of victimization-victimization by caregivers, victimization by caregivers and teachers, poly-victimization, and no victimization. The classes had both different and same predictors. School achievement was associated with victimization by caregivers. Relationship with teachers and community safety were associated with victimization by caregivers and teachers. Relationship with both peers and teachers, and participation in decision-making at school were associated with poly-victimization. Depression and participation in decision-making at home were associated with all three victimization classes. Gender, age, health, and participation in the community were also important predictors. Based on the results, it was discussed how to prevent and intervene victimization among adolescents.
