This study was conducted to investigate the effect of college students’ self-oriented perfectionism, test anxiety, and intolerance of uncertainty on academic initiation-completion procrastination. Data were collected from 244 college students in Seoul and the metropolitan area and analyzed using the SPSS 26.0 program. As a result, it was found that there was a statistically significant relationship between self-oriented perfectionism, test anxiety, intolerance of uncertainty, and academic initiation-completion procrastination. In addition, self-oriented perfectionism had a significant negative (-) influence and test anxiety had a significant positive (+) influence on both procrastination. But, the effect of intolerance of uncertainty was not significant. Based on these results, I discuss the ways to relieve academic initiation-completion procrastination for promoting academic performance and present opinions on future research.
