Education program for scientifically gifted children has been exclusively composed of scientific subjects. However, developing gifted children's potential all round which makes them able to communicate with other disciplines is getting important issue in 21st century. As a preliminary step to pursue this task, we try to set up a sound logic and direction of humanities and arts program development. Insight, integration,communication, and creativity are suggested as core abilities we can expect from the program. Based on the principles of differentiated curriculum and self-directed learning,this program is also meant to cultivate the positive attitude toward challenges,difficulties, experimental spirit, and collaboration with others. The detailed procedures of developing humanities and arts programs are described separately. Overall, this study signifies the theoretical and practical basis for multidisciplinary approach for gifted and talented education.
