The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of audience according to frequency of viewing and find out some suggestions in consideration of their characteristics. The subjects for this study were 206 college woman attending S university in regional areas. As for the statistical data analysis, chi-square test, multiple response, T-test and discriminant analysis were carried out using SPSSWIN 12.0. The results of this study were as follow: First of all, there weren't statistically significant differences in factors of audience behavior according to frequency of viewing. Frequent audience were accompanied by friend who wanted to enjoy cultural life or leisure. However, occasional audience were accompanied by family and they were informed by mass media. Secondly, in regard to audience behavior according to frequency of viewing, the reason for watching can be divided into two factors; pursuing emotional sensitivity and a civilized lifestyle. The frequent audience show a noticeable response in pursuing emotional sensitivity and a civilized lifestyle. Thirdly, considering chance of viewing, frequent audience were influenced by recognition of the events and occasional audience were influenced by accessibility and price of admission. For frequent audience, there must be such provision as specialized information, developing special educational programs and securing them as members of the museum. For occasional audience, a package program linking them to neighborhood facilities should be developed.
