초록

This study is to examine characteristics and meaning of <OnggojipChyeonira>, of 20 Sheets Version in the dankook university, that is newly discovered lately. this work has peculiar contents such as evilness and property waste of the fake Onggojip, 5 attempted suicides, and jangseung death of Onggojip. Through this, a pain of Onggojip deepens, and it is ended by a tragic death. This shows a difference with other different Versions in punishment way and aspect of Onggojip. This difference is the reinforcement of direct punishment about evil deed of Onggojip. This difference is a result of valuing the equipment of the fault rather than believing in the possibility to mend Onggojip’s ways, and this shows a contradiction between religious punishment way aiming for tolerance of the bad and ethics of social community aiming for immediate punishment of the bad. That is, this work shows a subject ‘the good triumphing over the evil’ that disciplines evilness to encourage goodness through punishment rather than reformation of the bad strongly. And it reveals ethics of commoners well. therefore this work shows the initial appearance of pansori <Onggojipjeon> as popular arts.
