초록
The purpose of this study was to explore the work adjustment experience and professional identity development counselor’s for children at-risk of the infant development support service project conducted as part of the Gyeonggi-do project in 2021, and to provide support for them to revitalize the project. For this purpose, previous studies on work adaptation, professional identity, early screening of infants and toddlers at risk of disability were considered. And in-depth interviews were conducted with 5 counselors in Gyeonggi-do. Through the Thematic Analysis method, topics about the work adjustment and the development of professional identity of counselors were derived. As a result of the study, the initial work adjustment of counselors was found to be work confusion and burden, and it was confirmed that it was a stabilizer that experienced professional identity development while feeling satisfied with the job and role. This study was the first study of counselors for children at-risk, and it is meaningful that they presented practical policy directions to provide better services by strengthening professional competencies by revealing work adjustment and professional identity development.
