초록
This study examined the effect of socially prescribed perfectionism on career indecision among college students and the sequential double mediating effects of social comparison orientation and trait anxiety. A survey was conducted with 338 students and data were analyzed using Process Macro Model 6 with bootstrapping. The results showed that the direct effect and the single mediating effect of social comparison orientation were not significant. However, the mediating effect through trait anxiety and the sequential double mediating effect were significant. These findings suggest that career indecision is shaped through emotional processes involving perceived social expectations and trait anxiety, providing implications for career counseling and education.
