The purpose of this study is to explore from the perspective of Donghak what the best common sense and belief for the happiness of our community members can be. The reality of our lives depends on which of our forms of common sense becomes mainstream. However, while we were able to secure our own legitimacy against the injustice common sense enforced by unjust power, the ‘fairness’ is very relative to us today. For this, we used literature research and various empirical data and statistical indicators. The content of this study is, first, who are the people of Donghak. For example, one argues for justification for prosecution reform, and another argues for unjustification. According to the ontology of Donghak, are they all Donghak people? Second, what can be the universal attitude of life in harmony with the spirit of Donghak in the various common senses and beliefs of today. In the context of an economic war with Japan, can purchasing Japanese products be an individual’s rights irrelevant to the spirit of Donghak? The result of this study is, first, that in principle all who exist can be Donghak people. In reality, however, there is no need for any particular common sense, but a reasonable argument. The reason for the argument should be verifiable, because only then will the intercommunity be created. Second, it is the attitude of life that is consistent with the spirit of Donghak, trying to bring the individual way of life closer to the celestial way of life. It is a win-win perception that sees the happiness of oneself and the other in an organic relationship. Win-Win depends on mutuality, not one-way like a selfishness or an altruism.
