텍스트마이닝을 활용한 2022 항저우 아시안게임 주요 이슈 의미연결망 분석

초록

This study aimed to examine the thematic structure of domestic media coverage of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games. Naver in-link news articles published during the Games were collected using Python scripts in Google Colab. The top 50 keywords by frequency and the top 50 by TF-IDF were extracted and visualized using word clouds, followed by semantic network and CONCOR analyses. Based on the semantic network and CONCOR analyses, four thematic clusters were identified. First, media coverage focused on the overall performance of the Korean team, including the final medal standings and overall achievements. Second, media coverage highlighted sport-specific performances by reporting the results and achievements of individual events. Third, media coverage emphasized international competition by covering medal-winning processes and competitive relationships among participating countries. Fourth, media coverage highlighted symbolic achievements by focusing on representative athletes and historic accomplishments that characterized the Games.
