Analysis of Job Satisfaction Profiles and Their Determinants among Second-Generation Baby Boomer Wage Workers

초록
This study classified job satisfaction types among second baby boomer wage workers using latent profile analysis and examined their determinants based on the Job Demands–Resources (JD–R) framework. Using data from the 26th wave of the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study (N = 1,595), four distinct profiles were identified: average-satisfaction, compensation-dissatisfied, high-satisfaction, and environment-satisfied types. The findings reveal heterogeneous combinations of job demands and resources within the same cohort and highlight the need for differentiated employment policies tailored to older workers’ diverse job satisfaction patterns.
