This paper discussed the development of cultural contents and cultural products in the field of Korean art history including Koguryo murals. First, it enlisted already developed cultural contents concerning Korean art and history supported by Korean cultural content agency from 2002-2006 as well as archives and databases on Korean history and cultural heritages funded by the Korean government. Second, it introduced how these cultural contents have been used in cultual industry. As a case study, it also discussed the process and the results of the development of cultural contents from Koguryo murals by Sookmyung Women’s University in 2004. Thirdly, it analyzed the problems of cultural content projects and suggested several points to enhance the making of cultural contents and products on Koguryo murals. In order to develop global cultural contents and cultural products representing Korean aesthetics, it is essential to find out traditional cultural contents and to make them useful for industrial purposes. It is also imperative to develop other countries’cultural contents so as to preoccupy the field of world cultual industry. It is also necessary not only to develop Korean cultural contents with One Source - Multi use method but also to make archives and databases on traditional cultural heritages of Korea.
