〈이 소리에 모여!〉에 나타난 일본 전통음악의 구현과 연주 기반 형성
초록
This study explores how Japanese traditional music is represented and extended into real performance and educational contexts through the manga and anime Kono Oto Tomare!. The work depicts koto performance with notable specificity, including playing techniques, tonal characteristics, musical notation, and ensemble instruction scenes, presenting traditional music as an active process of learning and performance rather than a decorative background. Institutional elements such as the iemoto system, school club structures, and competition-centered activities are also portrayed, situating traditional music within concrete social and educational frameworks. Building on this foundation, fictional pieces from the narrative were composed, recorded, published as albums and scores, and performed in concerts and competitions, allowing the music to function as performable repertoire beyond the media text. Moreover, the connection between school koto education, high school koto clubs, and the National High School Cultural Festival demonstrates how the work intersects with existing educational structures. The case of Kono Oto Tomare! suggests that when traditional music is linked to media content and school activities, it can foster sustained engagement beyond classroom instruction.
