The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences of students in a general high school and choose a vocational education consignment course. For this purpose, third-year high school students participating in the vocational education consignment course were selected as research participants, and narrative inquiry was used as a research method to explore individualized experiences. The data were collected through in-depth interviews through interviews with the research participants, and data analysis was conducted based on the framework of analysis presented in the narrative inquiry methodology. Based on the meaning of the vocational education consignment course experience, which is the result of the study, the experience of the vocational education consignment course is not limited to job-seeking activities through career change, but individualized experiential activities such as escaping conflicting relationships, finding a new career path, and discovering yourself. It is expected that the discussion of these studies will be helpful in operating educational activities based on in-depth student understanding when operating the vocational education consignment course of general high schools.
