The purpose of this study is to investigate learning benefits from the applicability of PBLT and new media, as well as the characteristics of media expression by learners during online education, with digital dance education as its theme. Its detailed research question is to examine the characteristics of PBLT and new media expression, and the practicalities of learning found among learners during the process of a project are explored at the same time. Here, the practicalities of learning were embodied into ‘visual expression elements,’ ‘integration of knowledge,’ and ‘learning about learning.’ The exploration of PBLT and new media application cases has academic effectiveness in that it is a review of dance pedagogy in the digital era.
