This study is based on the omission aspect of Naksunjae(樂善齋) that is the world's first complete translation of Hongloumeng(紅樓夢) as comparing a translation with the original. There are the omitted parts of the original text of Naksunjae in the translation, and it is the point which claims our attention relating to manuscript issue of Naksunjae version of Hongloumeng. Chengjiaben(程甲本) version ranges were selected for searching for clues of the parts that there are in the original of Naksunjae and there are not in the translation text. The selected Chengjiaben(程甲本) version ranges are Chengjiaben, Benyacangbanben (本衙藏板本), Wangxilianpingben(王希廉評本) and Dongguangeben (東觀閣本), they were checked various lacuna with those in the original text of Naksunjae version of Hongloumeng. The omitted parts were deduced from those are in the translation, but are not in the original of Naksunjae version of Hongloumeng, then the omitted parts of Hongloumeng were researched, in view of the results so far achieved, the omitted parts have appeared on Chengjiaben version ranges in common. On basis of this point, we can deduce three points. first, the original text is different from the translation in Naksunjae version of Hongloumeng. second, it is possible that the original parts were missed out during transcribing the translation into the original text. The third, it is also possible that the original text had been transcribed using other manuscripts which are different from translation text.
