초록

This study aimed to develop Korean version of How I Think Questionnaire(HIT) to measure self-serving cognitive distortion for antisocial behaviors of adolescents. To examine its validity, the Korean translation of HIT, the Aggression Questionnaire, the Hostile Automatic Thoughts scale(HAT) were administered to 361 adolescents between Grade 7 through Grade 9. Out of them, 245 adolescents became the subject for factor analysis which yielded same four factors; self-centered, blaming others, minimizing/mislableing, assuming the worst. The final version of K-HIT consisted of 23 items out of original 39 items for cognitive distortion in HIT leaving 16 items with low factor loadings. K-HIT showed high internal consistency of .94 and high convergent validity with Aggression and HAT as well. The significance and usefulness and limit and future suggestion for further research were followed.
