초록

This study focused on the cultural practice of villagers continuing their existential lives amid the dual contradictions of “Folk Village” and “The Process of Tourism Development” in the village. As a result, the daily lives and contexts of the residents of Seongeup Folk Village were captured through various individual voices and multilayered experiences. In response to changes in the environment, residents were making a new history by reproducing the conditions of survival in the village through the daily practice of Intangible culture handed down from the past. The new creative work of the tradition suitable for modern society today is very important not only for villagers but also for collaboration among various stakeholders with local creative capabilities. After all, the town folk village remains to be an open community that can embrace these various actors, and in the future, Intangible cultural resources will be constantly changed and reorganized in the form of life of an inclusive village community and established as a local culture.
