The interest on Vietnamese literature is growing as East Asian studies have been activated recently. As part of the interest in Vietnamese literature, Changhua poetry that delegates between Korea and Vietnam in the Middle Ages gave and received in China has been the subject of special attention, studies on reviewing it meanwhile were announced not a little. In this paper, its purpose is to review the course of the study on Changhua poetry between Korea and Vietnam made in the meantime and to check necessary direction of the research in future. Cases that Korean and Vietnam delegates met and then gave and received Changhua poetry in Beijing and Seungdeok, approximately 17 times are checked over the second half of the 19th century from the beginning of the 14th century. Poetry Changhua summarized the history of meeting in the order of year, those who sang in chorus, appearances, others. Japanese scholar``s studies and A compilation of literatures by the Vietnamese delegates`` trips to China published in China in 2010 were a big help. However, there is controversial in the credibility of a part of the record to show Korean and Vietnamese delegates`` meeting. According to an article in Paegwan Japgi of Korea-side materials, a courtier gave and received poetry with Yoesigeo of Vietnamese delegates in Beijing and there was a battle between them. The argument that this record in the previous study was fiction and counterargument that courtier``s writings had a part of the poetry so it was not fiction were raised. In the previous study, the research on interpreting the meaning of Changhua poetry occupies the largest proportion. It seems that the significance of Changhua poetry checks the homogeneity of East Asian civilization, and there is no big disagreement in promoting mutual friendship. Occasionally there was competition to confirm the superiority between them by giving and receiving poetry but it was general to have sincerely friendly relations by feeling the homogeneity and the bond that belonged to the same civilization. Following the performance of the previous study, Changhua poetry needs to discuss whether it has any mention about the uniqueness of Korea and Vietnam separated from China in future. There are several matters mentioned as the heterogeneity as well as the homogeneity of civilization. For example, Vietnam delegates had different ``dressing style``, ``black teeth`` and ``loose hairs`` These disparate elements are considered to be the subject of recognition interest in heterogeneity. Considering the poetry in the Vietnam meandering literature including the poetry advocating with Korean delegates, the materials and representation, the topic have a similar feeling. It``s thought to be a matter of course, there is a need to explore what criteria they should be interpreted and evaluated by. The work to extract consciousness by analyzing poetic diction should be more accurate. It``s necessary to analyze official, customary poems and to have standards to evaluate literary value. Changhua poetry has been the target of criticism in each country. It needs to collect critical statements on the works of the other party. In future, these challenges must be solved by finding and arranging Vietnamese data, Chinese data and Korean data. It``s also necessary to promote joint researches.
