The purpose of this study is to derive implications and policies for improving industry-academic internship programs through analyzing the existing literature and diagnosing current status of industry-academy internship programs. For this, this study conducted a survey according to the CIPP model and suggested implications based on the results. In conclusion, this study derived 4 implications as follows. ① Industry-academy internship is more helpful for accumulating experience in social and organizational life after actual participation than the expectation that industry-academy internship will help in employment. ② It is necessary to evaluate the university(college) students participating in industry-academy internship as well as the evaluation of the institution and the mentor. ③ The current industry-academy internship participants are more than half of that in the fourth grade, but it is actually better to do it in the third grade. ④ It is suggested that the internship program needs to be supplemented so that industry-academy internship can help practical business function. Also. policy suggestions are given to government and university officials.
