This study was to analyze the awareness of the public, reality of use and satisfaction of nail treatments with natural ingredients to develop various products of nail treatments with natural ingredients that can minimize or recover nail damages with 294 Korean women in their 20s to 30s. It was found that they had higher interests in nail treatments with natural ingredients than general nail treatments and they felt that nail treatment with natural ingredients were safer than general nail treatments. Respondents with nail damages showed high expected effect of nail treatments with natural ingredients and the expected effect of nail treatments with natural ingredients was higher as the degree of nail damages was high. In terms of general characteristics of nail care and satisfaction of nail treatments with natural ingredients, the results of investigating mediating effect of the awareness of nail treatments with natural ingredients showed its complete mediation. The expected effects of nail treatments with natural ingredients were high as the degree of nail damages was high, and satisfaction after using nail treatments with natural ingredients was high as the expected effects were high. It is expected that the market competitiveness of nail treatments with natural ingredients will be further increased if awareness of nail treatments with natural ingredients increases.
