This study empirically analyzes the employment effects of standard workplaces for persons with disabilities, with the aim of improving the employment rate of people with disabilities. A panel analysis was conducted using data from standard workplaces spanning the years 2015 to 2023. The results indicate that as the number of regular employees in standard workplaces increases, there is a statistically significant increase in the additional employment of both persons with disabilities and those with severe disabilities. Furthermore, subsidiary-type standard workplaces employing 100 or more workers showed approximately three times greater employment effects compared to general-type workplaces. The significance of these findings was confirmed through both fixed-effects and random-effects models. These results highlight the need for differentiated policy support tailored to the unique characteristics of each type of standard workplace and underscore the importance of institutional enhancements to sustain and expand the employment impact of certified workplaces beyond the initial certification phase.
