The purpose of this study is to analyze the current research status and research trends of the school refusal for child & adolescent in Korea by analyzing the thesis and the articles published in the journals. For this purpose, 68 research papers published in theses and journals from 1971 to 2018 were analyzed with the focus on research type classification according to publish years, study subjects, research contents, and research methods. The results of this study are as follows. Frist, since 2010, research on the school refusal has increased. Second, there are many researches on elementary school students, high school students, middle school students. Third, the research contents were the most in the case study 20(29.4%), followed by the concept identification 19(28.0%), personal factor 9(13.2%). Fourth, there were many research methods 24(35.3%) and case studies 21(30.8%). In this study, the results of this study, implications and suggestions for the decision to refuse admission were discussed.
