초록
The purpose of this study is to suggest a middle-aged digital citizenship education plan through the search for awareness of middle-aged digital citizenship. A case study was conducted with 8 middle-aged people aged 40 to 65 using in-depth interviews. The results of the study are that first, education that can improve the ability to distinguish reality to maintain balance between offline and online experience is necessary for the middle-aged to exist offline and online. Second, it can be seen that education is necessary to understand how society is changing with the development of digital technology beyond freely accessing digital devices physically and psychologically according to the purpose of use. Third, in order to solve problems using digital technology, learning opportunities to interact and collaborate online with other people are required. Fourth, through digital technology, it is necessary to provide an educational experience that will inspire willingness or motivation to participate with interest in online and offline community social issues or policies online and offline. In addition, it is necessary to develop a digital citizenship scale that can help middle-aged people grasp and check their level of digital citizenship. This study is meaningful in that it broadened the understanding of middle-aged digital citizenship in the AI era, provided a theoretical basis for digital citizenship in middle-aged, which was relatively under-researched, and provided basic data for effective educational directions of digital citizenship for the middle-aged.
