The purpose of this paper is to describe the language expressions of the television news with reference to the objectivity. They say the broadcasting news must have the objectivity in language expressions. But some television news reveal news reporter's thought, attitude, or subjectivity. We consider that there is insufficient objectivity in these expressions. We can divide Television news into two groups; straight news and report news. The Straight news are read by announcers and the Report news are read by news reporters. We can find language expressions of the straight news have objectivity but language expressions of the report news have less objectivity. Straight news are constructed with simple news articles. On the contrary report news are constructed with anchor's comment and reporter's report and interview; news articles are mainly read by the reporters. So in the report news reporters appear on the television and reveal their feelings, thoughts, and attitude to the events which they are reporting. Therefore the report news have more subjectivity than the straight news have.
