초록

This study examines how parents with children in their infancy perceive their parenting strengths through Q methodology. 32 P samples of parents with infants and 31 statements were collected and Q-sorted. The data were analyzed through the QUANL-PC program. As a result of the study, four types of perception were derived about the parenting strengths of parents with infant children. Type 1 observation strengths focused on the process. Type 2 consideration strengths focused on understanding. Type 3 challenges the strength of aesthetics. Type 4 strengths of vitality focused on curiosity. This study is significant in that it provided an opportunity to discover and utilize the strengths of parents. We confirmed the need for an opportunity for parents with young children to discover and utilize their strengths as parents.
