초록
This study analyzes the issue of climate crisis-induced inequality through the lens of refugee narratives and the politics of mobility in contemporary Korean literature. Climate refugees emerge as particularly vulnerable not only due to environmental factors but also within the context of widespread structural inequalities across the globe. Focusing on the problem of mobility arising from ecological crises, this study examines how climate inequality intersects across multiple dimensions. It highlights how climate refugees are not merely portrayed as tragic victims but as individuals who challenge dominant discourses and explore new possibilities for solidarity through their voices and lived experiences. The novels analyzed in this study critically depict the inequalities of the climate crisis while also illustrating the practical efforts of those who resist such disparities. Their attempts to transcend an unequal world extend beyond forming new social relationships to embracing coexistence with ecological environments. The literary imagination surrounding the climate crisis sheds light on realities that scientific data often overlook, positioning itself as a vital practice for exploring the possibilities of solidarity and community through individual lives and voices in an unequal world.
