· Research topics: This study classifies job attitude types of wage workers in population-declining areas and analyzes influencing factors. · Research background: With growing concerns about regional decline due to low birth rates and aging populations, understanding local workers' characteristics is essential to prevent the outflow of the working-age population.Unlike previous research focused on young people's migration or variable-based approaches, this study takes a person-centered approach to all wage workers in these areas. · Research method: Using individual data from the Korea Labor Panel, latent profile analysis was conducted on wage workers aged 19 to 64 residing in population-declining areas. · Research results: The population-declining areas were classified into four types, with gender, educational attainment, employment type, working hours, industry, and average monthly wage found to influence job attitudes. · Contribution points and expected effects: The study offers insights into policies to reduce regional migration and support job sustainability.
