초록

This study has been investigated characteristics of school social work and its applicability to the real world. In this study, there were three sections. The first section is groundwork for developing the theoretical framework for school social work and consisted in a review of rhe literature analysing school social work. The second section examined the on-going service programs in school social work. In connection with this, approximately 20 schools were tested on the basis of criteria that previous research studies suggested. The final section makes recommendation for the future direction of school social work in Korea. Overall, this study is intended to be a comerstone establishing the future identity of school social work.
