The purpose of the study was to examine the change of education and training investment of Korean corporations and to identify influential factors that impact the investment. The number of samples of this study was 1,039 collected from Workplace Panel Survey(WPS). We used three times data conducted in 2013, 2015 and 2017 to identify the change. Dependent variable was the total amount of education and training cost invested by corporations. We used Multi level growth model analysis to examine the change by time. In results, the investment was decreased through the periods in unconditional model. Additionally, the investment patterns and intial investment were different from corporation. In the result of conditional growth model, we have identified companies’ characteristics that affect the initial investment cost for education and training and changes of training expenses. The characteristics of employees, such as the size of the company and the proportion of middle-aged workers, affected initial investment by companies. Factors related to middle-aged workers and government support have been shown to affect changes in investment in education and training expenses.
