초록

This paper aimed to account for the method functional elements which appear on interface of Morpho-Syntax component could be separately used and handled. In Korean, the word, output of morphology is free from changing word order after it is input in Syntax. However another output of Morphology, the functional elements are arranged in Syntax designated order. Those could be categorized ‘clitic’ in Morphology and ‘the functional word’ in Syntax. The ‘clitic’ having features of ‘word’ becomes ‘the functional word’ when it represents its dependent functional features. In this paper it was explained functional meaning of ‘clitic’ in Morphology is constantly represented in Syntax by showing usages of ‘HADA2(do)’ and ‘ANHADA (don’t)/MOTHADA(can’t)’ in Korean language.
