초록
The purpose of this study is to explore specifically how retired prospective employees of public institutions recognize the need to participate in education by participating in education for retirement preparation, what has changed to participation experience, and what the experience means. To achieve this purpose, seven prospective retirees with experience in participating in retirement preparation education were selected and interviewed, and analyzed by phenomenological methods. As a result, the experiences of prospective retirees participating in retirement preparation education were categorized into two. First, retirement preparation education for prospective retirees was a time to reflect on themselves. Second, retirement preparation education provided an opportunity to recovery confidence and overcome fear. Based on the results of these studies, it is necessary to provide education support for retirement preparation so that retirees who are planning to retire can live a productive and active life at the turning point of their lives. Especially, it is necessary to provide educational content and operating methods considering the characteristics of the participants. It is also suggested that practical methods to continue learning activities are needed.
