In this study, the degree of anxiety about presentations in face-to-face and non-face-to-face classes was investigated for high school students, and the causes of presentation anxiety were analyzed. As a result of conducting a survey on face-to-face and non-face-to-face presentation anxiety among 203 high school students, it was confirmed that the anxiety level during non-face presentation was significantly lower than that of face-to-face presentation in 18 of 23 questions. Five people from the survey were selected and interviewed in-depth about the experience of presentation and the difference between face-to -face and non-face-to-face presentations. As a result of causal structure analysis, audience perception, changed presentation scene, and specificity of device-based presentation were derived as factors that lower anxiety in non-face-to-face presentations. This study is meaningful in that it drew implications by in-depth analysis of the causes of anxiety in face-to-face presentations and non-face-to- face classes experienced and recognized by students in non-face-to-face classes.
