초록
This study is based on the premise that positive cultural exchanges and communication are possible regardless of the political and diplomatic conflicts between Korea and Japan. Accordingly, to examine what and how the Korean media reported on Japanese culture and how it changed before and after the pandemic, media big data was analyzed using text mining techniques. As a result, first, it was closely reported on the politics, diplomacy, economy, and culture of Korea, China and Japan. Second, it was confirmed that educational exchanges continued beyond the conflict between Korea and Japan. In addition, articles on 'Japanese culture' and 'China' after the pandemic showed specific interest in the cultures of both Japan and China. On the other hand, in articles related to 'YouTube', a number of articles that responded negatively to the Japanese government's Right-Turn attitude were confirmed. Also, articles related to 'Japanese culture' and 'Korea and Japan' seemed to deal with negative content about Japanese culture in general, regardless of before or after the pandemic. And paradoxically, it can be concluded that the friendly relationship between Korea, China and Japan, rather than the two countries, is exchanging practical education through a media medium called YouTube, which has a positive effect on the mutual recognition of citizens of both countries.
