초록

This study aims at ways of strengthening and enhancing the quality of caring service in early childhood settings and primary schools. This study is based on a perspective of integration between education and caring. Caring is an ethics of education which is based on the relations, which is, responsibility, interdependence, love, attention, ties between caring providers and children. In this respective, I analyzed diverse caring service policies in early childhood settings and primary schools. The gap among caring services is not great, but targets of services are overlapped due to needs-based approach. Cases of Sweden, Japan, and Australia show how education and caring is integrated for children’s wellbeing. Finally I suggested ways of enhancing quality of caring services in early childhood settings and primary schools.
