초록
The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of these variables on adolescents' achievement on the basis of the relationship between individual's positive, behavioral, and cognitive elements. The purpose of this study was to analyze the moderated mediating effect of self-regulated learning ability through attention problem in relation between self-esteem and academic achievement. The analysis data of this study is the 6th year data(2015) of the 4th grade panel of the elementary school during the Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) conducted in the National Youth Policy Institute. A total of 2,051 cases were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 23.0 and SPSS macro. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First, using the causal step approach of Baron and Kenny(1986), the mediating effect was found to have a partial mediating effect on self-regulated learning ability in the effect of self-esteem on academic achievement. Second, self-esteem has a moderating effect on self-regulated learning ability. Third, it is found that the effect of self-esteem on academic achievement through self-regulated learning ability is changed according to the attention problem. The moderated mediating effect was statistically significant. Based on the results of this study, we discuss the limitations and some suggestions for future research.
