아들러 이론 기반 Crucial Cs (중요한 Cs) 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도 연구

초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the validity and reliability of a scale measuring the Adlerian concept of the Crucial Cs. The Crucial Cs Scale used in this study was developed by Jeong and Jin(2025), who established its content validity through a Delphi study, and it originally consisted of 46 items. To examine the construct validity, convergent validity, and reliability of the scale, data were collected from 480 undergraduate students attending four-year universities across Korea. First, a hierarchical confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to examine construct validity, and 15 of the 46 items were removed, resulting in a final 31-item scale. In addition, the hierarchical four-factor model, consisting of one higher-order factor (Crucial Cs) and four lower-order factors (Connect, Capable, Count, Courage), showed a good model fit, with an RMSEA value of .06. Next, the results of the convergent validity analysis indicated that the Crucial Cs was significantly and positively correlated with self-esteem, social interest, interpersonal relationship orientation, and basic psychological needs. Finally, the reliability analysis showed that the overall internal consistency was α = .98. These findings suggest that the scale can serve as a useful tool for systematically assessing individuals’ levels of the Crucial Cs.
