초록

In this paper we examined how to deal with declension and conjugation of Korean language in the dictionaries. Alternants of stems of nouns and verbs need not to be registered as separate headwords. In Learners’ dictionaries, the inflectional forms of verbs have to be listed, except for this, the alternations of stems were described in the micro structure of the headwords. Most of the alternants of grammatical morphemes(postpositions and endings) are listed in separate headwords in the dictionaries. Some alternants of postpositions and endings were not listed as separate headwords. This is because the dictionaries depend on the writing forms. If there are no standard written forms, or if it is difficult to write the proper forms of some grammatical morphemes the alternants are not listed as headwords in the dictionary. Most of the alternants of words and fused forms can be listed in a electronic dictionary.
