초록
In order to achieve national Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) emission reduction targets, various studies have been conducted on the effects of national policies and reduction technologies. However, previous studies have had limitations to estimate the reduction potential with the inconsistency of the applied policy and technology. With a high proportion of national GHGs emissions and reduction targets, the road transportation sector is one of the most important sectors to achieve the national GHGs reduction target by 2030. In this study, we developed a methodology for consistently reflecting the attributes of the variables in the road transport sector. National GHGs reduction policies and technologies were applied under several assumptions based on national statistics and emission estimates. As of 2030, it is estimated that CO2 emissions could be reduced by approximately 23.2% compared to the non-policy and non-technology adoption. The proposed methodology calculates the reduction potentials through direct reflection of GHGs reduction policies and technologies based on the variables and assumptions used in GHGs emissions projections under non-policy and non-technology adoption.
