The purpose of this study is to analyze evaluation criteria to recruit hotel employees and compare the importance between interviewers and interviewees. The results of the study include followings. First of all, the attributes were classified with 6 sectors: operational techniques, management skills, personal characteristics, appearance and attitude, qualifications, language communication skills and 40 variables were found. Interviewees give more weight on appearance and language communication skills such as English and second foreign languages. Interviewers give higher points on applicants' motivation, passion, and mindset for the jobs. To effectively evaluate these invisible attributes interviewers have to create specific evaluation methods and develop questions of each attribute.
