This study adopted a literature study as a research method to provide basic data necessary for revitalizing Myungjakmoo by studying the designation of Myungjakmoo and intrinsic values. Since Kim Jin-geol Sanjo began to be designated as a Myungjakmoo in 1992, a total of 19 dances have been designated until Jeong Jae-man Sanjo (Cheongpung Myeongwol) as of 2021. It is the order of Kim, Jin-gul Sanjo, Kim, Baek-bong Boochaechoom, Cho, Taek-won Gasahojeop, Choi, Hyun Bisang, Song, Beom Chamhoi, Kim, Moon-sook Daegual, Choi Hee-sun Dalgubeol Ipchoom, Cho, Heung-dong Hanryangmoo, Kim, Sang-gyu Hoarang, Bae, Myung-gyun Honryung, and Hwang, Moo-bong Hapjang, Lee, Sook-hyang Bamgil, Bae, Jeong-hye Pungryu Janggo, Guk, Soo-Ho Janghanga, Eun, Bang-Cho Hoisang, Hwag, Moo-bong Sanjo, Kim, Baek-Bong Hwagwanmoo, Han, Sun-Seo Obuk, and Jeong, Jae-man Sanjo (Cheongpungmyeongwol) The criteria for selecting a Myungjakmoo are defined based on the date of the premiere, the history of the holder, the origin and origin of the work, the intention of creation, the content of the work, the characteristics and composition of the work, the transmission genealogy, the frequency of performances, papers, reviews, and articles. This study can find its meaning as the first academic research on Myungjakmoo, and proposals for revitalization are as follows. The formation of an academic system and intellectual body of Myungjakmoo, clear regulations related to the overlapping of national intangible cultural treasure and city and provincial designated cultural treasure, and recording work for continuous discovery and research were derived.
