초록

The purpose of this study is to examine how infants and children have been impacted by COVID-19, utilizing three Delphi surveys with 15 experts in play therapy, early childhood care & education, and elementary education. As a result of the study, the area most affected by COVID-19 was “socialization,” with the most important factor being “reduction in face-to-face contact and relationship experiences due to social distancing.” The most serious developmental problem identified was ‘Increased self-centered thinking’, the most serious adaptive problem was ‘difficulty in social relationships, including peer relationships’. This research confirms the need for advanced preparations such as social support measures to prepare for epidemic-related emergencies and provides a basis for understanding the developmental and adaptive problems of infants and children in the post-COVID-19 Era, along with empirical data for effective responses.
