초록
In this essay, I analyze the researches on critical thinking in Korea from 1960's to 2011. The contents analysis gives seven characteristics: First, there were few creative achievements on definition, education methods or history of critical thinking. Second, interdisciplinary studies were rare in spite of wide acknowledgement of their necessity. Third, most studies were focused not on practical education but on theory except the application of foreign theories. Fourth, there were few organic approaches to this matter in the wide framework of problem-solving. Fifth, most scholars prefered critical thinking to creative thinking or vice versa without balanced assessment. Sixth, there were few studies on the method to develop critical thinking disposition despite of wide acknowledgement of their importance. Seventh, very few studies related critical thinking to communication education.
