This study is a preliminary study for the actual application of customized physical expression education activities based on Rousseau's naturalistic education according to learner types. The evaluation criteria and steps for learner type assessment based on typological approach are presented, and the typification criteria for learner's personality, learning style, goals and motivation, and participation level are categorized into four major categories and sub-categorized. As a result of the study, nine representative learner types were derived, and it was found that this learner type classification can serve as a basis for designing individualized physical expression activities and implementing customized education. This is expected to be a reference and basic data for expanding the approach of physical expression activities for customized education in the current educational field that emphasizes and reflects the individual characteristics of students.
