초록

The purpose of this study was to graft cognitive behavioral therapy onto interior design as comprehensive approach of psychotherapy and explore its potential. Study scope ranged in secondary data collecting broadcast programs from ‘Interior therapy with Jeff Lewis’ by Bravo TV in United Stated from 2012 to 2013. Study methods were naturalistic observation and case study. Naturalistic observation implies implicit measurement, while case study involves video observation using broadcasting images recorded. Study subjects were analyzed by SASB model representative of interpersonal approach in personality disorder. The study results were as the following. Firstly, enmeshment as well as separation were found in terms of interdependency in OCD, Residence space is given energy of flow and functional aspect of space is utilized as living things. Secondly, favorable characteristic of loving oneself actively was found in terms of affection in NPD. Tidiness and order therapy and furniture rearrangement reflecting preference of family members with oneself as the center are used. Thirdly, both enmeshment and separation were found in terms of interdependency in personality disorder. Tidiness and order therapy is used to remove collections obsessed and color therapy and flower decoration reflecting preference of family members are used in empty space. Finally, significance of this study is to be used as the basic data to develop therapy education program in the field of interior design in the future.
