초록

Magnetic domain wall motion driven by an electric current is an important phenomenon in the development of memory and logic devices because the domain wall acts as an information carrier. To conserve the information, unidirectional motion of multiple domain walls is required. Recent works show that a chiral texture of the magnetic domain wall preferred by the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) is an essential condition for unidirectional motion. Thus, measuring DMI is an important issue for device development, but this is not an easy task when the magnitude of the DMI is weak. Here, we report that domain walls with weak DMI can form unusual domain shapes, triangular and sawtooth, because the electric current and the external magnetic field cancel each other out at certain domain wall angles. These angles strongly depend on DMIs that show the possibility of characterizing weak DMIs.
